Community Organizing and Para-Legal
Organizing depressed communities, enabling them to plan and implement programs, access resources and services to meet priority needs and transforming them into self-reliant, self-sufficient, self-governing organizations.
Addressing the problems of homelessness by providing opportunities for housing and housing-related services such as the building of affordable houses for low income groups on labor equity basis, lobbying with government for a more responsive action, stimulating public interaction on housing questions, identifying more relocation sites, para-legal assistance services for those threatened with evictio, and other supports.
Creating an alternative health care system that is developed by the people based on their needs and potentials which ensures availability, affordability, efficiency, equity and sustainability of health care services.
Animating poor communities toward self-reliance and sustainability through vocational skills training and entrepreneurial development to enchance income-generating opportunities.
