ZABIDA welcomes the New Year through a 4-day Annual Operations Planning (AOP) Activity together with its member-organizations Nagdilaab Foundation, Inc., Reach-Out to Others Foundation Inc., Katilingban Sa Kalambuang Organization, Inc., and Peace Advocates Zamboanga Foundation Inc., last January 9 to 12 of this year. 

With the trends to development constantly changing and both natural and man-made disasters still unpredictable, the Regional Program Management Office of ZABIDA, through the President, Fr. Angel C. Calvo, CMF, and Executive Director, Esperancita Hupida,  the Program Coordinators and Staff were made to understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda to serve as a guide towards the future Project Implementations. 

This year 2018, the Convenio Project, supported by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and Manos Unidas in Spain, is on its 4th year. The AOP is an opportunity for ZABIDA to re-evaluate and strengthen its strategies in addressing the 4 components under the project which are Participatory Governance, Peace Advocacy, Human Rights and Environment.
