📸LOOK: As a continuation of yesterday's session on Conflict Analysis for Peace Promotion, women participants from the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi presented the Historical/Conflict Timeline of their communities. This presentation provided a detailed examination of the critical events that have shaped local conflicts, with a focus on identifying the key actors involved in these key moments. The timeline serves as an important tool for reflecting on the past while understanding the dynamics that continue to impact their communities today. By highlighting the role of women in conflict resolution, the session also emphasized the need for inclusive narratives in peacebuilding. — This training is part of the Conflict Prevention and Resolution at the Grassroots: Enhancing Skills of Women, Youth, and IP Leaders in BaSulTa initiative of ZABIDA with partner organizations Nagdilaab Foundation, Inc., Tulung Lupah Sug, and Tarbilang Foundation, Inc., under the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund of UN Women Philippines The project seeks to empower women and youth leaders from the Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi region by providing them with the necessary tools to foster peace and security at the grassroots level. #WomenForPeace #Peacebuilding #BASULTA #WomenInLeadership
