๐„๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐š๐œ๐š๐จ ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐™๐š๐ฆ๐›๐จ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š ๐๐ž๐ฅ ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ! A Training on Organic Cacao Production was held last May 7โ€“8, 2025 at Felyโ€™s Farm in Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur. The training was led by experts from the University of Southern Mindanao, including Dr. Romulo Cena, former Professor, a National Crop Science Awardee and member of the Philippine Seed Board; Mr. Rezin Cabantug, Science Research Specialist; and Mr. Daryl De Vera, Crop Propagator. They shared their knowledge on organic cacao farming practices and postharvest management with local farmers to help improve their productivity and sustainability. This training is part of the project โ€œMobilizing Investment Towards Poverty Eradication, Peacebuilding, and Sustainabilityโ€ for Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte. The activity was implemented by ZABIDA and the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur with support from the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). #EmpoweringCacaoFarmers #parnershipforhumansecurity
